You may want to have a waterfall or a fountain, but don't have the space to build one, or the time or energy to invest in pond maintenance. The solution? A Disappearing Fountain, waterfall or stream. What a great way to make a really beautiful addition to your landscape!
Disappearing fountains require a bare minimum of maintenance. They tend to stay cleaner because there is no pool of water to catch debris. Keeping the reservoir topped up is just about the only chore. Since there is no way to check the water level from above, an auto-fill device is particularly handy and is easy to hide below the grate.
Tall ceramics or sculpture and/or groupings of colorful pots lend themselves very well to this type of water feature. Used as a peaceful welcoming greeting at front doors and entry ways, or providing a gentle water sound beneath your bedroom window, these features can be placed anywhere you want the look and sound of flowing water. Sun or shade doesn't matter like it does for a water garden.
